I recently sat in on comedian Jim Breuer's Sirius Satellite Radio program, "Breuer Unleashed,"which just celebrated its second anniversary and is the network's second-highest-rated program (right after Howard Stern, that is). Sirius has a studio for Breuer, 39, in New York, but I'm at his parents' house in Chester Township, where Sirius set up a studio in the basement.
It's not so much a studio as it is a table with a few microphones and headsets in a beautiful family room with toys spread all over the place so Breuer's three kids can goof around.
Breuer's best known as a former "Saturday Night Live"cast member but is first and foremost a physical and funnystand-up comedian who rose through the ranks of the New York City clubs into the national spotlight. He also lives in the township and has carved a career for himself doing what he loves, making people laugh, be it on stage or in a basement.
